(b. 1937). 6th dan Aikikai. B. 1937 in Ichikawa, Chiba. First taught kendo by his father as a child and later kempo in junior high school. In 1955 enrolled in Aoyama Gakuin University, majoring in economics. Began aikido training in 1959 at the Sankei Dojo in Yurakucho, Tokyo under Hiroshi TADA. Relocated to Argentina in 1964 and since that time has taught aikido. Presently heads the Argentina Aikido Association.
