Hideo Takahashi 高橋英雄

(b. c. 1935). A high-standing member of the BYAKKO SHIN KOKAI church which was founded by Masahisa GOI, a personal friend of Morihei UESHIBA. Takahashi had regular contact with Ueshiba in the mid-1960s and made extensive notes of lectures the latter gave before church members. He compiled and edited these into a book titled Takemusu Aiki (see bibl. ) which, though very difficult reading, continues to be the most significant work containing the philosophy of the aikido founder.
