(1872-1942). A teacher of TENJIN SHIN’YO-RYU JUJUTSU in Tokyo who was mistakenly identified as a teacher of Morihei UESHIBA in several of Kisshomaru UESHIBA’s books. This error was due to the similarity of names between Tobari and Tokusaburo TOZAWA and the relative obscurity of the latter. This discrepancy and the case of mistaken identity was later recognized and has been rectified.
